It’s true, my friends. Rodney Cones: Colourblind P.I. returns to Mostly Water Theatre’s Metro Digital Shorts this Saturday at 8 pm @ Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre. Come support us and we will support you… we mean it.
As you may recall, Rodney just snuck into a 4th place showing at last Metro’s showing. This time, we’re going for THE TOP!*
Yes! That’s right! You heard it here first! Rodney will be first** of this month’s submissions! We guarantee it!***
But what, pray tell, is in store for our dashing hero, Rodney Cones? We offer you this small tidbit from behind the scenes of this latest installment: Enjoy!
*assuming Riley Beach and Highwire Films don’t submit anything
**among everything not submitted by Riley Beach and Highwire Films
***as long as Riley Beach and Highwire Films are not submitting
Just a friendly reminder from the crew that our fantabulous new short “Rodney Cones” will be making its screen debut this Saturday at Mostly Water Theatre’s Metro Digital Shorts.
The festivities begin 9 PM at Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, downtown Edmonton, AB. There will be plenty of other great local short-films to be watched, but we especially want you to come and VOTE (that’s right… VOTE) as a card-carrying audience member for your favorite short.
Of course… we all know which one that is going to be, don’t we? Probably the latest thing from Highwire Films. But that doesn’t mean you can’t ALSO vote Rodney Cones into a top-three placement! We believe in you!!
See you there!
There is so much wonderful monologging by our actors in the preview of Rodney Cones: Colourblind P.I. that I felt the need to draw special attention to it.
Below are some of the hilarious inner-dialogue moments that were hard to hear or not fully used in the final cut. Enjoy them to the hilt:
We here at Accidental Humour Co are constantly thinking about working to bring you new and exciting developments in the field of video comedy. To this end, we present to you a preview of our current webisode project that will be [hopefully] displayed at Mostly Water’s Metro Digital Shorts on March 27, 9PM at Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, downtown Edmonton, AB.
It will also [hopefully] be voted by the audience into a place of prestige by the viewing audience and we will be politely asked to submit another one. This will be our first Metro submission since our triumphant run with the Variety Show back in the days of yore. We’re trying something a little different now… but hey, enough talking about it. Why don’t you just take a look:
