Coming Aug 13th – 22nd to the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival.

From the makers of the smash hit For the Love of a Zombie. Comes Accidental Humour Co’s next big ridiculous thing.

Happy Whackin’ Jim McCrackin!

Jim McCrackin kills people for a living. Deal with it. But things are making him rethink his life goals. And when a bizarre mix-up results in his job getting waay to personal,  things get a little dicey.
This will be his last job. One way or another.

As in, we JUST sneaked into a forth-place finish with our short preview of Rodney Cones: Colourblind P.I. only because the top two placements tied for first, thereby allowing us to jump a spot. This means were were formally requested to create a new episode of Rodney Cones (like we weren’t going to anyway).
We at the Co would like to formally thank everyone who came and voted for us. All three of you.
This next one is for you guys.

Just a friendly reminder from the crew that our fantabulous new short “Rodney Cones” will be making its screen debut this Saturday at Mostly Water Theatre’s Metro Digital Shorts.

The festivities begin 9 PM at Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, downtown Edmonton, AB. There will be plenty of other great local short-films to be watched, but we especially want you to come and VOTE (that’s right… VOTE) as a card-carrying audience member for your favorite short.
Of course… we all know which one that is going to be, don’t we? Probably the latest thing from Highwire Films. But that doesn’t mean you can’t ALSO vote Rodney Cones into a top-three placement! We believe in you!!

See you there!

There is so much wonderful monologging by our actors in the preview of Rodney Cones: Colourblind P.I. that I felt the need to draw special attention to it.

Below are some of the hilarious inner-dialogue moments that were hard to hear or not fully used in the final cut. Enjoy them to the hilt:

William discusses hot molten passion
William dives back in, to the hilt
Amanda doesn’t have the balls to do it
Amanda doesn’t make eggs, she eats ‘em
Mike goes on for a while…
Murray channels his inner clown

We here at Accidental Humour Co are constantly thinking about working to bring you new and exciting developments in the field of video comedy. To this end, we present to you a preview of our current webisode project that will be [hopefully] displayed at Mostly Water’s Metro Digital Shorts on March 27, 9PM at Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, downtown Edmonton, AB.

It will also [hopefully] be voted by the audience into a place of prestige by the viewing audience and we will be politely asked to submit another one. This will be our first Metro submission since our triumphant run with the Variety Show back in the days of yore. We’re trying something a little different now… but hey, enough talking about it. Why don’t you just take a look:

Accidental Humour Co. has been drawn for the 2010 Edmonton Fringe Festival.  Right now we are creating a new and exciting piece for the Fringe, with the working title ”Happy Wackin’ Jim MCrackin!”  The play is still in its embryonic stage, but we here at Accidental Humour Co. are very excited to see what kind of monkey it evolves into.  We’ll keep you posted.

This is the new home of Accidental Humour Co.

Hopefully it will fulfill it’s role as a dynamic, non-facebook location to keep tabs on all things new and shiny with Accidental Humour Co. Please feel free to register and comment on our posts and work. We love to hear from you. Unless your Greg Hudson from See Magazine.

Just kidding. We love you, Greg.
