Audition Notice: Super Heroics 2017

Howdy folks. Accidental Humour has been hard at work this year, touring their ridiculously popular western “Cowboy: A Cowboy Story” all over Alberta. But even as that is happening, we are working on our next show!

We are having auditions for this next show (which is going to be pretty SUPER) and we are looking for some super talent to join us:

Accidental Humour Co is an Edmonton based company that produces original multi-media theatre productions. Previous productions include “Cowboy: A Cowboy Story”, “Happy Whackin’ Jim McCrackin”,”McCrackin 2: The Whacking”, “Release the McCrackin”, “Son of a Dwarf”, and “For the Love of a Zombie”. The Co. is  looking for actors with flexible schedules to  cast in their next show!  Due to the nature of mixing film and stage the time commitment required from actors is substantial.  Their new production will begin filming in January – April, rehearsal in late spring early summer, and then do the Edmonton Fringe (Aug 17-27 2017) and following that a 1-3 week fall tour in Alberta ending in October.

Accidental Humour Co. is holding auditions for their new Superhero show, on Dec 12 & 14, 2016 they are looking for  (Please note that movement and stage combat experience is an asset)

1 – Woman – ages 20-30 – Young electrical engineer, kind-hearted, lacks confidence.

1 – Woman – ages 30-45 – Strong business Woman, ability to play multiple characters
1 – Man – ages 35-50 – Former superhero, father figure, ability to play multiple characters

To be considered for an audition please send Theatre Resume, headshot and date preference to Kimberlee at Accidental Humour Co. thanks everyone for their interest but only those being considered will be contacted for audition.
